OUR PROGRAMS
Elite Cosmetology School programs are designed to give our students the best background and experience to meet the needs of a demanding profession in cosmetology. Thanks to our intensive theory, skill development and business development courses, our students graduate better prepared for life in the industry than many of today’s working professionals.
COSMETOLOGY
Cosmetology is a 1000 clocked hour course, as required by the State of California to apply for the license examination. The program consists of theory, practical training and technical instruction including all practices of cosmetology, including training in courtesy and professional attitude in working with the public. Performing work on a variety of people each day, you will be assisting them with shampoo & cut, perm, color & styling, manicures, pedicures, facials, & waxing.
barbering
Barbering is a 1000 clocked hour course, as required in order to apply for the license examination. The program consists of theory, practical training and technical instruction. At Elite, you will receive the guidance you need and the hands-on training you deserve. You will learn everything from precision haircutting, including fades, shape ups, and color, along with shaving and grooming. In addition to all this you will learn the personal and business skills you need to build a career in this booming industry.
ESTHETICIAN
Esthetician (skin care) is a 600 clocked hour course, as required by the State of California to apply for the license examination. The program consists of theory, practical training and technical instruction including all practices of skin care, including training in courtesy and professional attitude in working with the public. It includes performing several types of facials, micro-derm abrasion, make-up application and waxing.
